Village is for lap babies, crawlers, and walkers accompanied by a parent or caregiver. This is a special program where you and your baby share in the moments that happen through music, movement, touch and sounds.

At Kids Discover we show you how to gently teach your baby without you even knowing it! By participating in activities and learning new strategies, you will learn how to include music and movement into your child's daily routine, making stress and difficult periods disappear!

We sing, dance and play developmentally appropriate instruments that are musical and fun, experience vocal play to help language, enjoy socialisation and movement,  all the while helping you to connect with your little one.

In this class, children extend themselves through drama, instrument play, language skills and dance. They arrive, full of stories, conversation and eagerness to explore new horizons each week. Perfect for getting children ready for Kindy and Prep, Kindermusik Imagine That helps build the foundations for maths, reading and other basic skills needed once they get to school.

Imagine That! continues creative musical development while building on preschool learning. To foster fine motor skills, more instruments are introduced as the children are encouraged to handle them with care. Basic concepts like rhythm, pitch, and timbre are developed. Vocal exploration develops their singing voices and encourages them to sing independently of others. In Imagine That!, the thinker, creator and musician in your child come together.

Kindermusik Family Time is designed for families with children ages newborn and up, who want to participate in an activity together. Families meet weekly for 45 minutes, and each session is 16 weeks long. In a convenient class specially written for the whole family, you'll play instruments together, dance together, share and take turns, and see how music can bring you closer as a family. We'll introduce musical concepts and develop musical skills in a multi-age, multi-child setting. And of course, families with single children are welcome as well!

Family Time is like a one-room schoolhouse approach to music. With older children ready to show the little ones how it's done and the younger ones eager to learn, Family Time becomes a multi-layered learning environment. Each week, we will introduce basic musical concepts and then give you the instruments, and the structured free time to put those concepts into play.

In this special place for musical, social and emotional learning, your children will strengthen their ties with each other and with you - and they'll start developing the skills they'll need in school and on the neighborhood playground.

Young Child is an environment where your child can transition from an environment of exploration and free music making to a slightly more structured environment where they learn to read and write tranditional notation.

While movement, singing, insturment play, dance and lots of fun still play a central role, the Young Child program encourages the discipline of practice on an instrument and the learning of traditional music symbols to get your child ready for private music instruction. Your child learns the symbols and vocabulary of music making, develops playing and performing skills on the glockenspiel and using her voice.
