Diana Acheson is a national speaker, educator and international mentor. Her roles have been vast and varied and include everything from child , parent and teacher education. She has written curricula, and for the past 6 years has been a mentor for the Australasian region, traveling around Australia training teachers in child development and teaching strategies.
Diana has over 20 years experience with children with special needs and has taught children for over 26 years. Her passion lies with teaching parents about child development so they can help their children reach their potential. Diana also trained in sound therapy and sensory integration over 5 years ago. Her accumulative knowledge means she can help both children and parents of all ages.
Diana has won both national and international awards for her teaching including:
- 2002 Maestro (top 5 Kindermusik studios in Australia)
- 2003 Maestro (to 5 Kindermusik studios in Australia
- 2004 Maestro in Outreach (international award - only one to ever be given outside the US for work with children with special needs)
- 2008 Maestro in Masterful Teaching (international award (1 of 15 in the world) to be given to educators with exceptional teaching standards
