Boy, am I late. If you're still around - I'd suggest a .026 for the bass string (farthest from you), .013 for the middle string and .012 for the melody, closest to you. String preferences change depending on what you're looking for in sound, nothing is set in stone. hope this helps, long after the freakin' fact!

hi there. i found one of these in my garage with sadly only 2 strings =(. i was wondering what type of strings you would suggest getting and the tuning of the instrument. thanks for any info
